The creative writing program's spring conference, formerly named SomeSpring|Else, takes a new name in 2011. New Leaves Writers' Conference is small series of visiting writers, panelists, and agents brought to Mason specifically to read and discuss the craft of writing, issues of publishing and promotion, and writing beyond the program with creative writing students.
