Tuckey's Poetry is Socially Engaging

Creative writing (MFA) graduate Melissa Tuckey, a poet, has appeared in several prominent publications and has a chapbook, “Rope as Witness.” She is the recipient of several awards and fellowships including the Ohio Arts Council and the D.C. Commission on Arts and Humanities, as well as a residency at Blue Mountain Center. She is also the co-founder of Split This Rock Poetry Festival where she freely exercises her political aspirations.
