Advising

Your acceptance letter includes the name and email of a faculty contact who can help answer general questions about the Program such as how to best sequence your courses and prepare for your thesis. This advisor is replaced by the end of a student’s second year with a Thesis Director. Our Graduate Academic Coordinator, Jay Patel, and the MFA Program Director, Professor William Miller, can also provide guidance in these matters and are your main resource for information about student financial aid, forms and deadlines, events, departmental policies and registration.
