Baltimore Magazine recently interviewed Baltimore Sons author and poet Dean Bartoli Smith. Stillhouse Press, the student and alumni run teaching press of Mason's Watershed Lit, published Baltimore Sons this past October. In the collection, accomplished poet, author, and editor Smith offers a wrenching examination of our troubled attachments to place and the deepest wounds of the American psyche using the backdrop of his hometown Baltimore.
