Lyz Lenz is the author of the forthcoming book Godland for Indiana University Press and Belabored forthcoming from Nation Books. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Buzzfeed, and others. She has an MFA from Lesley University and is the former managing editor of The Rumpus, and a contributing writer for the Columbia Journalism Review.
