Art Taylor is an associate professor in the English Department at George Mason University, where he teaches creative writing, literature, and composition; for many years, he also helped to coordinate marketing for the annual Fall for the Book festival.
Art is the author of On the Road with Del & Louise: A Novel in Stories, winner of the Agatha Award for Best First Novel. His short fiction, primarily in the mystery genre, has also won three additional Agatha Awards, the Anthony Award, two Macavity Awards, and three consecutive Derringer Awards.
He contributes frequently to the Washington Post and to the Washington Independent Review of Books.
